Arnab Panigrahi · Technology Leader

I translate technology strategy into business outcomes that matter.

I work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with leaders and delivery teams across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific so that enterprise platforms, data and AI deliver real results.

My Personal Projects with AI

I also build AI products of my own with Claude and agent tools. Each has agent-powered execution, guided by a person's judgement.

What I do

Strategy into outcomes

I sit with executive teams to turn technology and data strategy into a roadmap with clear milestones, then brief boards and senior leaders as the work moves.

Enterprise platforms and products

I've planned and run programs end to end across ERP, CRM, HCM and SaaS products, including SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Salesforce, from the core system through to integration and analytics.

Connecting people and priorities

My story is about stakeholder trust and people leadership. I bring the right people together around shared priorities, so the work keeps moving.

Analytics and reporting

I prepare transparent, data-based briefings for boards and build dashboards that untangle initiative backlogs. My goal is to give leaders the clarity they need to make the right decisions.

Data before AI

I built an enterprise data operations program from the ground up so executives could decide on governed, real time data. That groundwork is what lets AI do useful work later.

Governance that helps

I set up program offices and decision-making frameworks, with executive reporting that gives senior leaders a clear view and sets the right expectations for delivery teams.

Vendors and value

I manage vendors and partners from procurement through to delivery, and I look for overlap, such as consolidating SaaS tools onto one platform, which frees money for the work that matters.

How I work

  • Two decades in I've spent two decades on complex technology programs and technology strategy.
  • Purpose first I state the purpose of a program or project in simple words, so everyone knows why the work matters.
  • Open trade-offs Each planning cycle I weigh business as usual against new initiatives, and I'm open about the trade-offs.
  • Risk from the start I manage risks from the start and track them as the work moves, so the fixes are ready before they're needed.
  • Groundwork for AI Good AI starts with the groundwork. Clean data, the right access and a clear picture of the business process matter as much as governance and responsible use.
  • Stable in production Business process changes and solutions have to be stable in production, because that's where people depend on them.
  • Over a coffee Many of my conversations about problems and gaps start informally, over a coffee or a chance meeting in the lift.

Sectors

Retail, manufacturing and supply chain, gaming and entertainment, utilities, education, and federal and state government (AU).

Technology

SAP, Salesforce, Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, data and analytics, cyber security, AI and automation.
